AIIMS Bibinagar, Hyderbad is inviting online applications from Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) for various faculty positions. These roles are available through Direct recruitment or deputation (including short-term contracts) at AIIMS Bibinagar, Hyderabad Metropolitan Region (HMR), Telangana.

Name of the Post: Assistant Professor in the department of Neurosurgery

Essential Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

1. MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized under the Indian
   Medical Council (IMC) Act, 1956 or by the National Medical Commission
   (NMC) for practice of medicine in India.
2. Qualifying degree: DM or M.Ch (recognized under the IMC Act, 1956 or by
   the NMC) OR qualifications recognized by the NMC as being equivalent
   thereto for employment as a Teacher in a Medical Institution. The qualifying
   degree must be in the subject of the post.
3. Experience: For candidates with 2- or 5-year course for the qualifying degree,
   one year teaching experience after obtaining the qualifying degree is
   required. The experience must be obtained in a department recognized by the
   NMC for award of the qualifying degree or an experience recognized by the
   NMC as being equivalent thereto. No additional experience is required for
   those with a 3- or 6-year course for the qualifying degree.

6. The cut-off date for age, qualifications, and experience is 30 days from the advertisement’s publication.
7. Experience is counted after obtaining prescribed qualifications.
8. SC/ST candidates may receive a one-year relaxation in teaching/research experience as per DoPT and AIIMS guidelines.

Experience certificates must specify the period (“from” to “to”), duration, and nature of experience (teaching or research).
